Whenever possible, LBK Engineering coordinates early on with the builder to provide a more cost effective design for the client. We help clients design a home that is tailored to their specific needs, while keeping an eye on resale value and cost efficient design.
1. Initial Design
Our philosophy is to always be mindful of re-sale, functionality, and ease of construction.
We help you find the best utilization of your lot with an eye toward the custom home of your dreams with functionality for your lifestyle and style suited to your tastes. Whether you have an idea for a floor plan already or if you need guidance in creating the flow of your future home, we have you covered. With 20 years of experience in what works and what doesn’t, we help you finesse your original ideas into a bona fide house design.
2. Engineering
Complete design and engineering analysis with an eye towards modification for cost-effective construction. Easy-to-read and complete structural plans for the contractor.
3. Permitting
We provide thorough plans (per local jurisdiction requirements) that minimize lost time in the plan-check process. It can be challenging to obtain the appropriate permits and/or rezone if necessary, but an experienced residential engineer can guide you through this process and make it as painless as possible.
